I am often asked what is NLP and what has it got to do with Hypnosis because I do combine the two to assist clients to achieve their personal goals.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming or NLP explores the relationship between how we think (Neuro), how we communicate both verbally and non verbally (Linguistic) and our behaviour and emotions (Programming). This relationship is what allows you to change your habits, health and behaviours.
When you are deeply relaxed during hypnosis, you can talk to your unconscious mind. And your unconscious mind already knows how to make the changes that you want so the NLP tools help you to get rapid and effective help to achieve the changes that you want.
NLP is extremely effective in re-establishing positive behaviour and eliminating negative behaviour and rebalancing those areas of your life that you choose to rebalance. This is very effective for changing habits, health outcomes, behaviour and performance outcomes (yes I have helped studente and even complete football teams achieve better results).
So on a practical level, yes I can help you quit smoking, lose weight and make different food choices, manage excessive alcohol intake, asthma, diabetes and I love the valuable work I do helping provide more positive outcomes and comfort for clients with cancer and other serious diseases.
