Stress builds up in you like blowing up a balloon.
Then you relax and let the balloon down… this is normal…
But if there is already a lot of stress or anxiety from the past, the balloon gradually fills up and possibly gets over full.
There are a variety of ways to release the stress. Playing with kids, working out at the gym, walking, cuddling a pet are all healthy ways. Releasing stress gently is very important.
Some people use anger to release their stress. Others freeze to avoid going out and getting more. Some try to anaesthetise themselves with alcohol, smoking or various drugs.
Some people never learn to release stress gently because things have happened in their lives that prevent this.
Excess stress builds up as anxiety, depression and in many cases your body may even turn on itself causing illnesses like autoimmune disease and sometimes even cancer because it suppresses your immune system.
How we fix it
All you need is to IMAGINE so that your unconscious mind knows that:
- The past is over
- You are safe
- You have the POWER to change.
So I talk to your unconscious mind to let that happen.
