I know
that many of you who get this newsletter have already quit smoking successfully
but here is both a reminder and some news you can pass on to your smoking
friends.
Smoking
is an addiction to the HABIT of smoking. Nicotine itself is only addictive for
a maximum of 2 hours but the behaviour and the triggers are deeply entrenched
Telling
people that nicotine is addictive is a brilliant marketing strategy for the
tobacco companies
I
remember seeing an executive form a major tobacco company who wanted to Quit,
and when I told him nicotine is not addictive, I expected him to argue but he
laughed and agreed it is great marketing.
So how
can you change habits? It is actually
simple… when you use your imagination with emotion, you can change your habits
and make all sorts of other helpful changes in your unconscious mind.
You can choose
to change so many different habits although it does have to be one by one, so
you don’t confuse yourself.
I do have
gift certificates available if some of you want to pay for or contribute to a
loved one’s treatment for any of my services.
I will be
closed on Christmas Eve and between Christmas and New Year but have a limited
number of appointments available in very early January to help with those New
Year resolutions.
And I will be
enjoying family time as my daughter from New Zealand and her family are in Adelaide
to spend time with the rest of the family.
