Humans resist change because our habits are often stronger than our willpower
Willpower is manged by our conscious mind while habits are deeply embedded in our unconscious minds.
We have so much information coming in all the time that we must filter most of it out of our consciousness. So we build habits to save us from making endless decisions about small things. We can get up, dressed, hopefully fed and out the door each morning without thinking much about it. Many of us even set a habit of waking at a particular time each day.
It’s all useful stuff except when we build harmful habits, like smoking, nibbling too much chocolate or other goodies, perhaps having one too many alcoholic drinks at night, procrastinating and not getting things done.
When you repeat behaviour we build more connections between our neurones, so you end up with neural highways and super highways in our brains. Hypnosis allows you to break these connections and form new habits.
Smoking is an addiction to the behaviour … not to nicotine which is only addictive for around 2 hours (hint… perhaps that is why patches don’t really work)
Good habits are just as addictive as bad habits….
… you can install new habits and because I give all my clients a hypnosis disk to listen to each night to help relax you reinforce your new good habit and make it permanent.
If you have not already tried hypnosis with me then why don’t you give this a real try?
Commit to it and when you come, don’t try over analyse it… just go with the flow. It doesn’t matter whether you pay close attention or just let your mind drift because I talk to your unconscious mind which is 94-96% of your total mind and is that part of you programmed to take care of you at all times, even when you are distracted.
Because I listen carefully to you before we start and tailor your session to your needs have no need to feel anxious. You hear every work I say
