Feelings are all that really matter in life.
Sometimes people tell you to stop talking about feelings and follow the structure and the logic.
Well I do know that I feel safer when I have a structure in my life. I like to follow a regular timetable. Then I sleep better, and my gut feels happier, overall, I feel happier. There you are, I’m back to feelings but I have set up a basic structure.
When you feel afraid, or you feel angry, you are no longer logical. And being logical cannot work if you don’t feel right. When you feel stressed and anxious you can’t stop and be logical.
Sometimes we find ourselves with someone who leaves you feeling edgy or uncomfortable. If this happens listen to that feeling and work out why.
The energy between you is not working. Minimise time with them unless you can resolve this feeling.
One of my neighbours is elderly and I keep an eye on her because she lives alone without any family in this state. But I don’t spend as much time with her as she would like because after I have been with her, I feel grumpy. She doesn’t get on with her own daughter, downloads on me, and when I leave, I feel anxious with my own daughter.
It’s hard to put my finger on why and I tried to ignore it for a long time, but I have decided to just spend less of my time with her and I feel more restful. Yes, I keep in touch as a kindness, but I limit the time.
The most important thing we can do during the uncertainties of covid is to take care of ourselves and our emotional peace… our feelings. When we feel good it even improves our digestion and our immunity.
I am continually grateful for the time and the learning I have done that allows me to access my unconscious mind with self-hypnosis and to resolve difficult feelings. And of course, I am grateful for the opportunity to help others who need help.
We all need to take care of our feelings, sort out why we are anxious and get rid of the underlying issues. Turn off the news and avoid the many movies that are very dark and/or violent.
When we are peaceful and happy, we have more energy and a stronger immune system.
