Too often people say, “I’m fine” when you ask how they are.
BUT… when you hear someone or even yourself, say I’m fine, ask… Are you really?
Or are you actually feeling a bit down, insecure, emotionally unavailable?
Now try saying “I’m fine”, then say, “I’m good” and notice the difference in how you feel, feel the different energy in the words fine and good. The energy in words you say is important. It’s even worse when someone says “I’m not too bad” or as elderly BizNonna used to say “Non che male” because she spoke almost no English.
Learn to catch yourself saying I’m fine… stop and ask yourself what you need. Have you been neglecting yourself lately? Is there anything missing?
When your friends say I’m fine, ask them if there is anything a bit out of sorts. How can you help.
People who say I’m fine not I’m good may actually need help but be reluctant to ask. A good friend picks up on small cues and helps.
I felt a bit down just over a week ago. Of yes, if you’d asked I’d have said I’m fine. As a recovered PTSD sufferer 2020 has been a trying year and someone said something to me that triggered a long-forgotten memory. I realised what had happened and did some self-hypnosis and floated back in time to discover the root cause of the problem. Then I was able to fix it.
Self-hypnosis is such a helpful tool and I teach it in both my online programs, ‘Escape from Anxiety’ and ‘Relax and Lose Weight’.
These programs provide a new approach to hypnotherapy which are available at any time, day or night to fit in with modern crazy lifestyles. Both provide an approximately 40-minute video helping you discover those unconscious beliefs that control your life, your anxieties and/or your eating habits and weight gain.
Each session provides a hypnosis download that ties in with the video and in fact parallels the work I do if you choose the face to face hypnotherapy.
And you can also choose to do a combination of online and face to face therapy for maximum benefit. If you want to learn more about how to deal with feeling I’m fine, book in for a free discovery consultation and find out more about how I can help you sort out your limiting unconscious beliefs.
