I have been missing newsletters for the past month because I moved both my house and my clinic. It was only 1.4km but massively disruptive because I downsized. Plus I needed to keep the dog and the cat happy.
Well I’m not sure the cat is happy yet but at least she is safe. She currently lives in my wardrobe and is scared of her expensive cat enclosure in my backyard. Its about the stress caused by change.
The thing about stress is that we all suffer from it. It is part of our modern life and getting worse. It’s like blowing up a balloon, it just keeps building up unless you learn to let it go in small regular releases, until eventually your balloon of stress gets too full and it bursts causing all sorts of health issues.
As many of you know, I specialise in helping people to recover from stress and anxiety so I was able to treat myself and stay calm during the moving process. What a pity I can’t hypnotise the cat to cope. She is settling a bit with regular cuddles every night one the dog goes to bed,
I am very happy in my new smaller house although some things still seem to be hiding in unopened boxes. It took 2 weeks for me to get any internet and I am currently using a 4G system on a friends router. Telstra tell me the wires are inadequate to deliver ADSL and the NBN is not on the horizon yet even though I was told this was connected before I bought the place.
I was able to keep my same phone number. My new address is 3/10 Davis Road, Glynde. This is next door to the gates of the Aveo village and if you use Google maps it can be confusing. Google 28 Davis Road gives you a better location because 28 is next door.
Yes I am still working and seeing clients and have been all the time except for 4 days that I took off for the move.my new smaller office is good.
If you are coming along Glynburn Road turn downhill on the corner with Menz Fruchocs on one side of the road and Gelato Bello on the other.
I am about 2/3 of the way down the road.
